WakeMed MyChart is an online health management tool provided by WakeMed. However, WakeMedMyChart allows patients to access their health information and manage various aspects of their healthcare conveniently online. Through MyChart, patients can:
- View Medical Records: Access personal health records, including test results, immunizations, and health history.
- Schedule Appointments: Book, view, and manage upcoming medical appointments.
- Communication: Communicate with healthcare providers securely for non-urgent medical questions or concerns.
- Prescription Management: Request prescription refills and view medication lists.
- Bill Payment: View and pay medical bills online.
- Health Tracking: Monitor health metrics and track progress over time.
- Family Access: Manage healthcare for family members, such as children or elderly parents, through proxy access.
How to Recover Your WakeMed Mychart Username
If you have forgotten your username for WakeMed MyChart, you can follow these steps to retrieve it:
Step 1: Visit the WakeMed MyChart Login Page: Open your web browser and go to the WakeMed MyChart login page. (https://mychart.wakemed.org/MyChart-PRD/Authentication/Login).
Step 2: Find the “Forgot Username” Link: On the login page, look for the link that says “Forgot Username?” and click on it. You can however copy this link into your browser (https://mychart.wakemed.org/MyChart-PRD/recoverlogin.asp)
However, if you do not remember your password, you may need to use the “Forgot password?” link first.
Step 3: Enter Required Information: You will be prompted to enter some personal information to verify your identity. Typically, this includes:
- First and Last Name
- Date of Birth
- Zip Code
- Email Address or Phone Number
Step 4: Submit the Request: After entering the required information, click on the “Submit” button.
Step 5: Check Your Email: If the information you provided matches the information on file, you will receive an email containing your username. Check your inbox (and spam/junk folder if necessary) for an email from WakeMed MyChart.
If you have an e-mail address on file then your WakeMed MyChart Username will be sent to your e-mail account.
If you do not remember any of this information, or you do not have a valid e-mail address on file, you will have to contact your MyChart help desk at (919)350-2288 to help you regain access to your MyChart account.
WakeMed MyChart Login
No more waiting for a phone call or letter – view your results and your doctor’s comments within days. You may not permit any other person to access your WakeMed MyChart account using your username and password and the use of your account is your responsibility.
For First-time users: Click the “Sign Up” button above the User Login form. A signup screen will display. You can either register using the email address that you provided to the office or you can register by creating a username and entering a security code provided to you from the office.
- Go to the WakeMed MyChart login page.
- Enter your MyChart username and password in the spaces provided and
- Click Access MyChart.

The WakeMed MyChart app makes it easy to stay engaged with your care and offers access to health information for you and your family whenever you want it. Along with quick access to WakeMed MyChart.
The MyChart app for both Android and iOS allows patients to access their WakeMed MyChart account from a phone or tablet.
